Kat Soriano- Founder, Stylist & Educator
Kat Soriano is a hairstylist, educator and mentor with nearly two decades in the professional beauty industry.
Trained in classic Sassoon techniques and advanced color education including Master Color Expert training, her work centers around precision, intention, and understanding the “why” behind every decision made behind the chair.
Kat’s focus lives in how stylists approach color- shifting the conversation from formulas and product dependency to observation and decision-making.
Through This is Not About a Blow Dryer, she introduces a philosophy rooted in clarity, repetition, and a deeper way of thinking, helping stylists build confidence that trasnlates across any color lines.
The goal is simple: to help stylists grow into confident professionals and leave the industry better than we found it.
Think like a Colorist.
Being a colorist doesn’t come from chasing formulas. It comes from repetition, observation, and refining how decisions are made.
For those wanting to go deeper, the work continues through workshops, practice materials and ongoing conversations designed to support your formulation to help you stop chasing formulas.
