Anatomy of Color Formulation Workshop
August 17-31 + Sept 14th | 4 Mondays | 10:00–11:30 AM PST
Virtual | Limited to 6 stylists (For Licensed Cosmetologists and Cosmetology students only)
This is not a class built on formulas. It’s built on understanding.
The Anatomy of Color Formulation workshop is a four-week, live virtual experience designed for stylists who are ready to move beyond guessing, memorizing, and relying on a single color line—and start thinking like a true colorist.
Over the course of four sessions, we break down the decision-making process behind formulation in a way that is clear, repeatable, and applicable across any brand. This is about learning how to see what’s in front of you, understand what needs to happen, and confidently choose the right approach—every time.
What to expect:
A small, virtual, focused group setting (maximum of 6) for real interaction and individualized guidance
Live case studies and guided problem-solving using real-world scenarios
A deep dive into the core principles: natural level, remaining pigment, tone, and lift
How to approach formulation with intention—not instinct or guesswork
A clear framework you can use behind the chair immediately
Space to ask questions, troubleshoot, and refine your thinking in real time
In class exclusive Anatomy of Formulation Notebook designed for workshops ONLY
Each session builds on the last, creating a layered understanding that strengthens both confidence and consistency behind the chair.
Post-Workshop Practice & Progression:
Upon completion, five practice models will be assigned to reinforce and apply what was learned. Documented before-and-after results, along with a written breakdown of the formulation process, are encouraged to be completed and submitted within six months. Completion of this work unlocks eligibility for future workshops, with the exception of the Consultation class.
This workshop is ideal for licensed stylists and cosmetology students who want to elevate their work, refine their eye, and develop a deeper command of their craft.

Time: 10:00–11:30 AM PST
Format: Live, virtual (Zoom)
Capacity: 6 participants max
This is where formulation stops being overwhelming—and starts making sense.
**Classes are non-refundable. Times and dates cannot be swapped or changed up to 7 days after the initial purchase. Swaps vary due to availability and are not guaranteed. Proof of licensing or cosmetology school enrollment must be provided within 7 days of registration, or your spot will be forfeited. To ensure delivery of notebook on time, we suggest registering at least 7 business days prior to the initial start day of class. Class notebooks will be sent out 2 weeks before class start date.
